Why we created LALILALA.org?​ And how it was born?
After 10 years of travelling and studying around the world
We were surrounded by so many talented artists. Still, we noticed they needed help promoting their work and finding career success. Despite their extraordinary abilities, they needed more design business knowledge and marketing skills to effectively showcase their talent. And let's face it, the digital tools out there were confusing and difficult to use.
We met so many extraordinary artists not able to sell themselves
​That's why we decided to make a difference. Our mission is to provide artists with the resources and support they need to reach their full potential.
We know that many artists struggle with selling themselves and finding direction, so we want to empower them by guiding them toward clear goals and helping them make the most of their talents.
Whether it's through training, mentorship, or just connecting them with the right resources, our goal is to see artists succeed in their careers.
We set up ourselves in Canada, Quebec, and slowly we create our home
We came to Canada with big dreams but found the immigration process tough. We had trouble with paperwork and felt lost at times. But we never gave up and slowly but surely, we made a home for ourselves here. Our struggles taught us the power of perseverance and inspired us to help others facing similar challenges.
And we never stop dreaming. We believe that with the right support and resources, anyone can overcome the difficulties of immigration and achieve success.
We participated and won a small grant to start design-thinking workshop for artists
​We had a great year in 2022 at Lalilala. We were lucky enough to win a grant from Codem which allowed us to create design thinking workshops for artists. This was a big moment for us and we were grateful for the recognition of our hard work.
Our main goal has always been to help artists succeed in their careers and the grant allowed us to take it to the next level. We put in the work to create workshops that would inspire artists to think creatively and outside the box. We wanted to show them that anything is possible if they just believe in themselves.
We also worked on making Lalilala.org even better for artists. We wanted to create a platform that was easy to use, filled with useful information, and a place where artists could connect with each other and grow their careers. Lalilala is now the go-to destination for artists and we're happy to have helped so many of them reach their full potential.
History
We are Coralie and Enrico, co-founders of Lalilala, but above all, we are creators, travelers, and multi-talented adventurers.
Enrico is a painter and UX designer. He loves designing accessible digital experiences just as much as he enjoys playing with colors on a canvas. His journey blends art, technology, and a constant quest for improvement, whether on a screen, by renovating an old house with his own hands, or by cooking delicious meals for his friends after a day of creating.
Coralie is a clown, clown teacher, and instructional designer. She believes in the power of play, laughter, and theater to shift perceptions and connect people. She creates, teaches, and supports artists in their development, with as much passion as when she goes hiking with her dog or relaxes in a hammock in the middle of nature.
Lalilala: A Project That Reflects Who We Are
Before becoming entrepreneurs, we were vagabonds, hitchhiking across Europe to attend festivals or visit our artist friends in squats, doing volunteer work here and there, and diving into supermarket dumpsters to recover food for a feast.
It was in Slovenia, while volunteering for a small NGO, that we met. From that moment, a friendship was born, then a dream, then love, and finally, a life project, fueled by our shared experiences and our common desire to create something meaningful to help artists.
We have ridden thousands of kilometers on bicycles through incredible landscapes, slept in a tent in the middle of nature, swum among coral reefs, and greeted the day with yoga at sunrise. We have always loved building our own projects, whether it’s renovating a house or creating a web platform to help others move forward.
why Lalilala?
Along our journey, we have met countless talented artists and artisans who were often lost when it came to the digital world. We wanted to create a simple and human solution for them. We ourselves have struggled with self-promotion, and we know how frustrating it can be when all you want is to share your art without getting bogged down in technical complexities.
That’s why Lalilala was born: a digital toolbox designed by creators, for creators, where anyone can have a clear, effective, and ready-to-use website without spending hours trying to figure out how it works.
An Adventure That Started With a Helping Hand
When we arrived in Quebec, we had to rebuild everything from scratch. Immigration, paperwork, reinventing ourselves… It wasn’t always easy. But in 2022, we won a grant from Codem, which allowed us to organize website creation workshops for artists. It was a revelation: seeing how much these exchanges helped creators gave us the drive to build Lalilala.org.
Lalilala today
Today, Lalilala is much more than just a website creator. It is a community and a space where artists, artisans, and entrepreneurs can find support, practical tools, and solutions tailored to their needs.
We don’t just provide websites; we also offer mentorship, training, and resources to help artists structure their careers and achieve their goals. Because we know that selling art and getting noticed is not something that comes naturally, and it’s even harder when you’re doing it alone.
Our Philosophy: A Web That Serves Creators
We built Lalilala with a simple idea: to offer artists and entrepreneurs a tailored, human, and accessible tool. We want a website to be a springboard, not a hurdle.
We deeply believe that every project deserves a beautiful showcase, without breaking the bank or spending hours on technical details.
